1. Agreement to Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the SatisVault browser extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SatisVault ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

SatisVault is a browser extension that provides:

  • Secure access to Microsoft Azure Key Vault secrets
  • Secret management capabilities (view, create, edit, delete)
  • URL-based secret matching through Web Tags
  • Auto-discovery of Key Vaults in your Azure subscription
  • Secure OAuth 2.0 authentication with Microsoft and Google

3. Eligibility

To use SatisVault, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Have a valid Microsoft Azure account with appropriate Key Vault permissions
  • Have the authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

4. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must authenticate using Google or Microsoft OAuth. By doing so, you:

  • Agree to provide accurate and complete information
  • Are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial.

5.2 Paid Subscription

  • After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable except as provided in Section 5.4
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

5.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund.

5.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Access vaults or secrets you are not authorized to access
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or authentication
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
  • Use automated scripts to access the Service (unless authorized)
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

Important: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization to access any Azure Key Vault or secrets you interact with through SatisVault.

7. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Azure and authentication credentials
  • Ensuring you have proper authorization to access Key Vaults in your organization
  • Complying with your organization's security policies
  • Any actions taken through your authenticated session
  • Backing up any critical data independently
  • Keeping your browser and extension updated

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Rights

SatisVault and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

8.3 Your Content

You retain ownership of your secrets and data stored in Azure Key Vault. We claim no ownership over your content.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Key Point: Your secrets and Azure credentials never pass through our servers. The extension communicates directly with Azure APIs from your browser.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY or RELIABILITY of any content
  • UNINTERRUPTED or ERROR-FREE operation

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SatisVault, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any unauthorized access to Key Vaults through your account

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the extension at any time.

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the Service

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Service is revoked
  • You must uninstall the extension
  • We may delete your account data
  • Sections 8, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending an email notification for significant changes

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SatisVault
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, other provisions remain in effect
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent
